Anyone been to Bali recently ?
I lived there about 20 years ago, and will soon be visiting again.
I must admit to looking forward to it but I am sure things have changed. Any comments appreciated

DBA
In my job I am a sysadmin/DBA on a medium site in the UK. Recently we have had a process started by a sister company running on our systems, as an oracle job, that has caused me some strife.
Our database set up has an SGA of 14 Gig (Oracle 10gR2)
The system has a single 2 core processor and the application manages to create 2.5 gigs of redo in about 90 minutes.
The part that has surprised me is that while this is happening and the CPUs are virtually 'maxed' out - in use by the LGW and DBW I have now found that the users of the system appear to have little or no problems.
It appears that with such a large SGA and it follows (since I set it up) a large Buffer Pool the users have little or no wait
